A protocol designed to foster multifaceted collaboration within the framework of YÖK regulations was signed on September 12, 2022, by Rector Prof. Dr. Kazım UYSAL and LODER Vice President Prof. Dr. Mehmet Tanyaş at a ceremony held at the rector's office. Present at the signing ceremony were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan KARA, Director of Kütahya Social Sciences Vocational School; Ali Çağrı BURAN, Assistant Professor and LODER member; and Dr. Kayıhan Ö. Turan, Member of the Board of Directors of the Logistics Association.

Under this signed protocol, the University and LODER will be able to jointly develop associate, undergraduate, and graduate programs, as well as certification programs, organize joint panels, symposiums, and other R&D activities, as well as conduct public and social responsibility projects.

As part of this protocol, the first joint effort was to address the emerging freight vehicle driver employment crisis, a problem both internationally and nationally. It was decided to develop a freight vehicle driving associate degree program within the university's vocational school and submit it for approval to the Council of Higher Education. The Bus Captaincy Associate Degree Program has been successfully operating at the university's vocational school for years, with 100% occupancy.

LODER will soon organize a workshop to which all stakeholders in the logistics sector will be invited to determine the learning outcomes and curriculum for the program.
